1.2.1             Floor System Overview

 

The most economical and typical system includes:

•  90 x 90 x 2.0mm Piers
• 150 x 50 x 2.0mm Bearers
• 100 x 50 x 1.6mm Joists

These are suitable for a 2.8m x 3m grid but longer spans are possible.

Note: Pad footings and bracing to be designed and certified by local engineer, taking into account site specific conditions.

1.2.4               Moment Base Plate Option for Free Standing Construction

• Alternative to encased footing for pole frames
• Reinforced footings to be designed by customer's engineer
• Easier installation
• Less bracing required
