1.3.1 Cutting
- The cutting of steel on site has been made easier with the Makita® 4131 portable cold cut docking saw.
- The saw is lighter, and the cold cut produces a burr-free cut (therefore safer, without zinc burn).
- Other recommended methods include drop saws, circular handsaws & angle saws fitted with the appropriate steel cutting discs.
- Easier insertion of joiners & end caps.
